Slamboni

You just don’t find bands like Slamboni anymore. Combining what we love about ska, punk and reggae into an action-packed rock anthem format in a way that manages to be both fresh and nostalgic, we are heavily influenced by acts as diverse as Streetlight Manifesto, Sublime, Face-to-Face, Bob Marley, Avenged Sevenfold, and yes, Barney Stenson.

A Toronto-based band with a SoCal vibe, this four piece cuts through the clutter in the way that we blend our influences: we’re a ska-punk band, but we don’t sound like any other ska-punk bands out there. We keep the ‘upstroke’ sound but mix in an almost melancholic vibe both lyrically and musically, with quick shifts into rock and reggae.
